(L.A.) Alfredo Muñoz Téllez, 58, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alfredo Munoztellez [sic].

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Chronic Ethanol Abuse

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:33 a.m.

“Chronic ethanol abuse” is a synonym for alcoholism. The man supposedly drank himself past the door of death.

The medical examiner did not note, if he investigated it at all, what exactly caused the man to die. Did his heart give out? Did his liver fail and put his body into shock?
