Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred in a courtyard.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Jesus Perez.

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Alprazolam and Fentanyl

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:22 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
