Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Thelonious Cotton.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Cause of Death B: Obesity

RIP THELONIOUS COTTON (October 14, 1990 – March 12, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:07 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 16.
