(L.A.) Anna Jacobson, 31, Died on Train Tracks

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old female that occurred on train tracks.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Anna Jacobson and listed her race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Injury

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:24 p.m.
The decedent was one of two individuals fatally hit by a Metrolink train in Lake Balboa. The other was a man named Jose Avina. (Note that this incident was initially reported as involving two women, which turned out to be wrong.)
LAFD said the incident happened at a little before 6:15 p.m. in the 17000 block of Roscoe Boulevard. The female victim was completely decapitated, the male had part of his head shorn off.
