(L.A.) Robert Macias, 56, Died at a Business

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Latino male that occurred at a business.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Robert Macias.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:01 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-May, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Robert Macias” in public records.
