Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Kevin Ward-Bey.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP KEVIN WARD-BEY (September 20, 1990 – February 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 3:23 p.m.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Kevin Ward Jr.
