Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Alisa Modylevsky of Washington state.

The decedent took her own life while visiting family in L.A.

Benzonatate, sold under the brand name Tessalon among others, is a medication that is used for the symptomatic relief of cough.
