(L.A.) John Bennett, 66, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Bennett.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JOHN BENNETT (August 25, 1958 – February 13, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:09 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 28.
