(L.A.) Eugene Anderson, 28, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Eugene Anderson.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl

RIP EUGENE ANDERSON (September 17, 1996 – February 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:13 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose. The decedent did not intend to kill himself when he was using fentanyl.
