Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 89-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Beatrice Castellano.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Intracranial Hemorrhage

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Gait Instability, Alzheimer’s Dementia

She underwent Middle Meningeal Artery Embolization on January 4, 2024.

This is possibly iatrogenic, which is why the medical examiner classified it as an accident.
