Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 91-year-old Black male that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Garnett Ruiz.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Severe Sepsis with Septic Shock

Cause of Death B: Urinary Tract Infection

Cause of Death C: Neuromuscular Dysfunction of Bladder

Other Significant Conditions: Respiratory Failure; Chronic Kidney Disease; Peripheral Vascular Disease
