(L.A.) Dalyce Curry, 95, Died in the Eaton Fire

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 95-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence in Altadena.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Dalyce Curry.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustion and Thermal Injuries

RIP DALYCE CURRY (April 8, 1929 – January 11, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:09 p.m.

The decedent perished in the Eaton Fire. Her remains were found in the 3000 block of Krenz Avenue.

For weeks, the Department of Medical Examiner had referred to her as Unidentified Doe #36.
