Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old male that occurred at a bus stop.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Frank Higginbotham and listed his race/ethnicity as Latino.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Kidney Disease

RIP FRANK HIGGINBOTHAM (December 3, 1962 – February 3, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:43 p.m.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest. The decedent had been waiting for a kidney transplant.
