Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Black male that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dennis Garrison.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DENNIS GARRISON (September 17, 1955 – December 8, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:28 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
