The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sterling Surncey.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Acute Pneumonia, Specific Etiology Unknown

RIP STERLING SURNCEY (November 15, 1956 – January 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:05 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 25.
