Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 80-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Francisco Pimentel.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP FRANCISCO PIMENTEL (October 29, 1944 – January 27, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:46 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 27.
