(L.A.) Joanna Fenicchia, 55, Died From a Polysubstance OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Joanna Fenicchia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Fentanyl, Hydrocodone, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol

RIP JOANNA FENICCHIA (June 22, 1969 – January 23, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late April, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polysubstance overdose.
