Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred on a bench.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Troy Jackson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP TROY JACKSON (February 26, 1968 – January 21, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:22 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in late April.
