(L.A.) Maynor Gomez-Rodriguez, 33, Died at an Electric Vehicle Station

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred at an electric vehicle station.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Maynor Gomez-Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Cardiomegaly

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:27 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in April, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
