The coroner’s office identified the man as Isaac Shepher.

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

In April 2022, Isaac Shepher — best known for the California-based Life Alert emergency-response company he and his longtime wife Miri founded in the late 1980s, which is famous for that catchy slogan: “Help! I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!” — bought a mansion in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. Records show the Israeli couple paid just under $15.8 million for the property, which is located in the guard-gated enclave of Hidden Hills.
