(L.A.) Steven Flores, 33, Died in a Stairwell

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a stairwell.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Steven Flores.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP STEVEN FLORES (October 6, 1991 – December 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
