Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Yoel Rodriguez Olivera.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Diabetes and Chronic Drug Use

RIP YOEL RODRIGUEZ OLIVERA (February 26, 1975 – November 23, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:19 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in March.
