Bilal Abdullah, 43, Died in Winnetka

LLos Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old “Black” male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Bilal Abdullah.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

Mainstream outlets posted that Bilal Bin Abdullah died from gunshot wounds inside a residence in the 20000 block of Sherman Way in Winnetka at around 3 p.m. Sunday.

A male suspect had entered the residence and confronted Abdullah in an upstairs bedroom before opening fire.

Several shots were heard before the suspect fled the location in what appeared to be a red or maroon sedan.

Bilal Bin Abdullah was born in 1979 in Los Angeles County. His mother’s maiden name is Walker. He is survived by siblings Kalimah Maryam Abdullah (ex-wife of Malik Tofoya Faulk), Khadijah Safiyyah Abdullah, Warith Deen Abdullah, and Khalifah Ramadanah Abdullah.
