(L.A.) Dean Styne, 50, Died at a Hotel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a hotel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Dean Styne.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP DEAN STYNE (April 6, 1974 – November 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
