(L.A.) Anthony Evans, 67, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Evans.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine and Recent Cocaine Use

RIP ANTHONY EVANS (August 31, 1957 – November 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
