(L.A.) James Mace, 55, Died at a Gas Station

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a gas station.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Mace.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP JAMES MACE (August 4, 1969 – October 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 5:00 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
