(L.A.) Lester Arroyo, 39, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lester Arroyo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Ethanol

RIP LESTER ARROYO (December 21, 1984 – November 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:11 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
