Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Juana Zaragoza.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Anoxic Encephalopathy

Cause of Death B: Status Post Cardiac Arrhythmia

Cause of Death C: During Resection of Mediastinal Tumor

RIP JUANA ZARAGOZA (July 14, 1981 – September 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:11 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 24.
