(L.A.) Gregory Henkel, 62, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gregory Henkel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 12:47 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
