(L.A.) Mario Arceo, 27, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Arceo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine and Ethanol Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Cardiomegaly; Valvular Heart Disease

RIP MARIO ARCEO (June 18, 1997 – September 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:00 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
