(L.A.) Jorge Bonilla Calderon, 36, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jorge Bonilla Calderon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP JORGE BONILLA CALDERON (May 20, 1988 – September 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 10:34 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
