(L.A.) Ines Espinosa Mariano, 66, Died From Fentanyl Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 66-year-old Latino male [sic] that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the individual as Ines Espinosa Mariano.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects

Other Significant Condition: Diabetes Mellitus

RIP INES ESPINOSA MARIANO (February 13, 1958 – March 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

* Note that the Department of Medical Examiner did indeed spell the decedent’s middle name as Espinosa and not Espinoza.
