(L.A.) Eugene Morgan, 56, Died at a Board and Care

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred in a board and care facility.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Eugene Morgan. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Osborne.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:51 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late December, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
