(L.A.) Juan Hernandez Sarat, 20, Died in a Pool

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred at a pool.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Juan Hernandez Sarat.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning

Other Significant Condition: Acute Alcohol Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:40 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 21.

A person is more likely to fatally drown when very drunk.
