(L.A.) Tobias McThomas, 46, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tobias McThomas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP TOBIAS MCTHOMAS (June 3, 1978 – September 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:42 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
