Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 81-year-old Black male that occurred at a healthcare service.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Thomas Lunford.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Cardiopulmonary Arrest

Cause of Death B: Systolic Congestive Heart Failure

RIP THOMAS LUNFORD (March 15, 1943 – May 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early September.
