(L.A.) Nicholas Haddon, 37, Died From Fentanyl

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Nicholas Haddon.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity
Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Heart Disease; Mild Asthma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:23 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-November, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
The decedent had multiple DUI arrests for driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. He also had been arrested for a hit-and-run resulting in injury.
