Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Elias Chacon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ELIAS CHACON (May 4, 1961 – August 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 12:40 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
