Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Black female that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Jasmine Jones.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine
Other Significant Conditions: Morbid Obesity, History of Congestive Heart Failure Due to Congenital Heart Disease, Asthma, and Chronic Tobacco Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:21 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
