Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Stennett.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Sudden Cardiac Death

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Heart Disease

RIP MICHAEL STENNETT (November 28, 1958 – August 9, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:59 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 27.
