Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gerald Adams.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP GERALD ADAMS (August 11, 1972 – August 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
