Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 86-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Fuentes.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: COVID

RIP CARLOS FUENTES (April 11, 1938 – July 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:44 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in December.

This was either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
