(L.A.) Michael Hermann, 50, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Michael Hermann.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Hydrocodone and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Hypertension

RIP MICHAEL HERMANN (February 21, 1974 – August 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
