(L.A.) Carlos Guzman, 33, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Guzman.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Smoke Inhalation and Thermal Burns

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:55 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 27.
