Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Damian Kilgore.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP DAMIAN KILGORE (August 17, 1974 – July 18, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

The decedent was a lifelong alcoholic.
