(L.A.) George Al Hawara, 18, Died at a Hookah Shop

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 18-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a hookah shop in Lancaster.

The coroner’s office has identified the teen as George Al Hawara.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:50 p.m.

A recent high-school graduate, the decedent was fatally shot at around 3:30 p.m. inside a business that his family owned. He was manning the shop alone when two men entered, with one firing a gun, possibly after an altercation. The incident location was Smoke Hookah at 1440 West Avenue I, Lancaster, CA 93534.
