Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 89-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Antonia Diaz.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Covid-19 Infection

Other Significant Condition: Chronic Renal Failure

RIP ANTONIA DIAZ (February 17, 1935 – June 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:18 a.m.

The decedent was not brought to the Department of Medical Examiner. It appears it was a doctor at a hospital that ruled she died from Covid.
