(L.A.) Onezime Gobert, 56, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Onezime Gobert.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Ethanol

RIP ONEZIME GOBERT (November 8, 1967 – June 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:55 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.
