Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Black female that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Brittany Brown.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

RIP BRITTANY BROWN (January 5, 1994 – June 25, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:28 a.m.

The decedent was fataly injured by a vehicle in the area of 15th Street East and Avenue I.

A sedan was traveling west on Avenue I and struck her as she was walking west in the bicycle lane.
