(L.A.) Travon Hassan, 47, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Black male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Travon Hassan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP TRAVON HASSAN (December 27, 1976 – June 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 6:20 a.m.

The government investigator had initially spelled the decedent’s surname as Hassen before later changing it.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
